I love a good hamburger and even a turkey burger...but sometimes the taste can get a little old. I've noticed several restaurants in my area (and if it's happening near me then it is definitely happening near you) have begun to offer alternatives to beef and turkey. My favorite option? Bison.
Bison, a.k.a. buffalo, is a delicious meat and has several health benefits. Per 3.5 oz serving, bison has just 140 calories, 2.4 g fat and only 82 mg of cholesterol. It's also really high in protein. Check out this chart to see the comparison to other meats.
